Here is a color infrared DOQ from the Finger Lakes Region of NYS, and the corresponding
Normalized Difference Image (Red-Blue)/(Red+Blue). This technique, carried out in PCI
Geomatica, provides a very good surface cover classification which can be directly related
to the local roughness.
